2018 PSAC B.C. Regional Young Workers' Summit

The 2018 PSAC B.C. Regional Young Workers’ Summit will be held November 24 - 25 at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver under the theme Shaping Our Future Now. The objectives of the Young Workers’ Summit areto gather PSAC Young Workers in B.C. to learn more about their union; to provide an opportunity to hear from, share experiences and challenges with those in leadership positions; to gain skills and tools on how to effect change in our political landscape; and to challenge participants to develop their own political action skills and empower them to bring these skills to their respective Young Worker Committees.

PSAC members in good standing and who self-identify as a young worker (35 years or younger), are encouraged to apply to attend - more information and registration here.

December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women in Canada. Established in 1991 by the Parliament of Canada, this day marks the anniversary of the murders in 1989 of 14 young women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal. PSAC members are organizing events around the province to commemorate this tragic event - December 5 in Abbotsford and December 6 in Victoria and Surrey.
