WHY YOUNG PEOPLE PREFER TO LIVE IN CITIES

Nowadays lots of young people move into big cities because of different aspects. It is well known that living in a city provides many advantages in your personal and professional life.

One of the factors that influence young people to move into cities is the amount of colleges and high schools located there and the great variety of careers and degrees they offer. In addition to this, you have the advantage of being well communicated as there are lots of public transport facilities, so you are able to go anywhere you want and you won’t contribute to the increase of pollution, which is one of the most serious problems in cities from all over the world .

On the other hand, another aspect that attracts the youth about city life is the amount of job opportunities they are given. This is due to cities being known as the key of the economy given that they are supposed to be a place where people from all walks of life live, creating demands so companies have to cover those needs. Therefore, the majority of companies choose to settle their offices and subsidiaries in big urbes, and this increases the employment rate, making it easier for young people to enter the world of labor.

As far as I am concerned, the life of a young student or worker could be highly improved in many ways if they chose to get a place in a city.

THE PLEASURE OF READING

Whilst reading could be a source of pleasure or a way to cope for some people, others might feel some kind of boredom doing it.

The feeling of it being a chore could result in a cause of rejection; this is caused from all the piles of compulssory reading during school time, so it's not a surprise that the appeal it had before starts to dissapear.

Otherwise much of the pleasure of reading lies in sharing your reaction to others. I personally believe that reading aloud is a perfect pastime for all ages whether it be to a child at bedtime or an overworked and stressed adult. It allows individuals to find meaning together, to make connections and uncover memories. In the case of children, their choice of books often reveals their developing personalities, so reading should be an important part of their life.

It is an absolute truth that traveling changes lifes, but sometimes people might find it impossible, in those cases reading is a perfect way to forget about the conventional world and its routines and discover some fantastic places without the need of moving from the comfort of their house.

All in all, reading is something necessary, whether it is compulssory or just for the pleasure that it gives; because the knowledge you achieve while doing it, couldn't be thaught from anything else.

IS IT BETTER TO DO SPORTS INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?

Doing sport outside is more enjoyable than doing it indoors because you have more space and also you can do things that at home you shouldn't do.

On one hand I reckon that outside you can enjoy the views and breathe fresh air which is so important nowadays. It is cheaper because you can go hiking in the mountains and that is free, but if the weather is not correct you can’t stay outdoors, so you have to try other exercises.

On the other hand I believe that you can also play cool sports inside but it is also more expensive, for example, if you want to go to a sport center you have to pay a mensual subscription.

I prefer doing sports outside because you can visit new places while doing those physical activities. I think that if you can do it outside then go for it, but if you don’t have more options than doing it on the interior, it’s better than doing nothing.
