For an affordable monthly price, lease one of our prefab 1 bedroom 1 bathroom temporary dwellings for yourself, a family member, or even a caregiver. Equipped with central air, full kitchen appliance package, wood floors, and much more, you will be amazed by our beautiful Care Cottages. Continue to live independently on your own property with the additional convenience of easy access to family or health care provided in the comfort of your own home.

The cost of care in long term facilities are much higher than our solution at Care Cottages by UMH. The national average monthly cost of moving to a nursing home is around $8,000. With a Care Cottage by UMH, your monthly cost of leasing our temporary dwelling would be one-quarter of that price. We strive to provide the most convenient and affordable housing solution for you!

Our Process

Our process is simple! For a small initial set up fee, we will deliver and install the home of your choice on your private property. You then lease the home for an affordable monthly rate with a minimum lease term of 5 years. When you no longer need your Care Cottage, we will come remove the home.
