C U Shah Govt. Polytechnic, WadhavanCity is a premier polytechnic institute in Gujarat State set with the objectives of imparting higher education, research and training in various fields of engineering & technology. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad and administrated by Department of Technical education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar. The institute was established in June 1984 Sheth Shri C U Shah. Hence College was named as C U Shah Polytechnic It is situated adjacent to GIDC and is located at the Nr Boda Talav, Wadhvan City, Surendranagar. The campus is having building for various departments, offices, hostels, residences of Principal, rector and wardens.

The Computer Engineering Department is Established in the year of 2001. In order to achieve task as stated in mission statement, we use learning tools like lecture-cum- discussion, laboratory work, tutorials, home assignments, seminars, field visits and project work. The department has well qualified faculty to cater the academic and other kinds of students' needs to enforce mission and vision of the department. Department possesses classrooms and prime laboratories as per AICTE norms and standards. We offer Interactive and effective learning environment to the students.
