Scholarship Opportunities

Applications are due March 23, 2026.
E-mail applications are preferred and the student will receive a “confirmation of delivery” response. Traditional mail is acceptable and the application must be postmarked by March 23, 2025.
The information letter states applications must be typed. The essay portion must be typed but if the students have trouble formatting or completing the application that portion may be handwritten. Also, the application requires the counselor’s signature which must be “signature” format.
Students will be notified IF they have been selected for an interview and the students who have not been selected will receive notification that they have not been selected.
Interview date: Saturday April 18thth

HMAC Scholarship Program

This program provides specialized training and prepares students to enter the workforce directly in the dynamic and growing asphalt industry. Applications are being accepted now through March 2, 2026.

This scholarship includes:

What: 10-Day TxDOT Level 1A, Level 1B, and SB102 Training & Certification Program
Value: $6,650 (includes hotel, food reimbursement, and cost of training and certification courses)
Where: At the Hot Mix Asphalt Center in Buda, TX
When: June 8-19, 2026

This is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on training, earn industry-recognized TxDOT certifications, and enter a rewarding, well-paying field with the skills needed for asphalt production, testing, and construction. Texas Telephone Association Foundation (“TTAF”) Scholarship

The Texas Telephone Association Foundation (“TTAF”) is excited to announce the opening of the 2026 scholarship application. The TTA Foundation awards six, 4-year scholarships, with $1,000.00 per full time fall and spring semester for a total of $8,000, per award. Completed applications must be postmarked/emailed by March 14, 2026, and award winners will be announced in late April 2026. Incomplete/Complete applications will not be accepted for any reason after the deadline of March 14th , 2026.

The TTA Foundation was created by the TTA board of directors in November 1992 with the objective to “look beyond traditional sources of revenue from dues and fees to find extraordinary funding for worthwhile endeavors.” All of the members of TTA believe that continuing education for Texas youth, especially those in rural Texas, is an invaluable resource, and TTAF is proud to be able to help support this mission. With a focus on fostering a greater understanding of the importance to the Texas economy of reliable, efficient telecommunications infrastructure, the Foundation is committed to promoting education and research in telephony and to promote the field of telephony as a professional career choice.
