Currys App

Currys App is an independent electronics shopping app. This policy explains how the app handles information.

This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Currys PLC, Currys PC World, or any other retailer, electronics brand, or manufacturer.

1. No account
You can use this app without creating an account and without signing in. We do not ask for your name, phone number, email, address, or date of birth to browse products, categories, or deals.

2. What stays on your device
The following is stored only on your device:

Products you save to your wishlist
Items in your shopping cart
Recent product searches
Delivery details you enter at checkout
Demo order history
App settings, such as theme preferences

This information is not uploaded to our servers.

3. Product listings
An internet connection is needed to load product images, listings, deals, and related content. When you search, only the search words you enter are used to find products in the app catalogue.

When you tap Buy Now or proceed to checkout, payment in this demo is simulated and no real payment is processed. We do not store real card or banking details in this app.

4. Advertising
This app may show ads through Google AdMob so the app can stay free. Ads may include banner ads and full-screen ads.

Google and its advertising partners may use your device advertising ID, approximate location from IP address, and ad activity to show and measure ads. We do not keep this as a personal profile.

You can turn off ad personalization in your Android settings under Google, then Ads.

5. Permissions
This app uses internet access and network status to load product content and images. It does not access your contacts, camera, photos, microphone, or GPS location. If you want to enter a delivery address, you type it yourself.

6. Children
This app is for general shoppers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. How to remove data
There is no account to delete. You can remove all app data by clearing storage in your phone settings, or by uninstalling the app.
