Sara Brooks (Ensemble) is a 6th grader at Dawkins Middle School. She enjoys playing ukulele, guitar, piano, violin, and bass as well as singing. Previous credits include Elf the Musical Jr., Alice in Wonderland, Annie Jr., and Diary of a Wimpy Kid the Musical, all at SYT, The Sound of Music and School of Rock at SLT, and Oliver! with Dorman Theatre Department. She would like to thank Dr. Cathy Siarris and Mrs. Walls for supporting her musical interests, her family for their support, and Connor for this opportunity.
Colten Bruce (Mr. Beaver) is extremely excited to be back at SYT! Colten has worked on many productions in the past with Spartanburg Youth Theatre, Dorman High School and Spartanburg Little Theatre. Some of his favorite roles include Crutchie in Disney’s Newsies Jr., Jem in To Kill a Mockingbird, and Cosmo Brown in Singin’ in the Rain. Colten attends Dorman High School and loves to draw, sing and perform for others. Finally, Colten would like to thank his family and friends for all their love and support throughout this rehearsal process.
Austin Chevalier (Ensemble) has previously performed with SYT as Charlie Davis in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical and with SLT as Zach in School of Rock. He is an avid guitar player and has played several shows at different venues. Austin is currently in 6th grade and has been homeschooled for the past three years, allowing him to pursue musical and theatrical passions. He would like to thank family and friends for supporting his endeavors.
Romaine Davis (Ensemble) is so thrilled to make her SYT debut. Romaine is homeschooled and her favorite subject is science. In her free time, she likes to read books and play softball. She would like to thank her brother for believing in her and her parents for getting her to rehearsal.
Xander Dotson (Father Christmas/Aslan) is excited to make his SYT debut. He is in 11th grade and is very excited to get to bring the wonderful world of Narnia to life. Xander has been doing theater since the 8th grade. His past credits include Shrek the Musical (Shrek), Elf the Musical Jr. (Walter), and Our Town (Dr. Gibbs). Xander attends High Point Academy. He would like to thank his parents, his brother, Corey, Drew Kenyon, Chase McAbee, and all of his friends. He hopes you all enjoy the show.
Hunter Earls (Ensemble) is a 6th grade honor student at Green Charter School and a vocal student with Lawson Academy at Converse College. He loves music, video games, and working out. This is Hunter’s 5th production with SYT/SLT. His most recent appearance was in The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition at SYT as the Coroner. Hunter is thankful for the opportunities the theater has given him and the friends he’s made through the process. He would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support.
Journey Earls (Ensemble) is a junior at Green Upstate High School. She is a member of Rho Khappa Honor Society and a vocal student with Lawson Academy at Converse College. She loves music, reading, and all things theatre. Journey most recently performed as Cruella in Dorman High School’s production of Descendants. She would like to thank her family and friends for their continued support.
Gloriana Howard (White Witch) feels infinitely blessed to be a part of this show! She was last seen onstage as the Wicked Witch in SYT’s The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, but you may also recognize her from other SYT productions such as Alice in Wonderland (Alice), A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Present), and The Rainbow Fish (Starfish). She would like to thank Connor, Ashley, and the rest of the creative team for their unwavering support, as well as her castmates for the joy they’ve brought to every rehearsal! Galatians 6:9
Miles Little (Ensemble) is extremely excited to be a part of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! He has a lot of experience with theatre and takes part in every opportunity he is offered. Other than theatre, he is interested in many other activities. He is a varsity/state swimmer and loves to play the piano.
Cooper Martsberger (Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of the incredible cast and crew for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. His love for theatre and his love for working with the incredible people at SYT brings him much joy. He would like to thank Connor and Ashley for this great opportunity and his friends and family for all their support.
Alex Mascolo (Ensemble) is very excited to be in their first SYT production. Alex is a 9th grader at Dorman and enjoys acting, singing, and dancing. Alex's previous theatre roles include Carlos in Descendants (Dorman Theatre) and Cab Driver/Altar Boy in Sister Act (Young Artists of America).
Adison McAbee (Mr. Tumnus) is so excited for you to watch this beautiful show! She is a senior at Landrum High School and has done theatre since she was nine years old. You may have seen her in SYT’s Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition as Aunt Em, or in past seasons as Mrs. Pugh/Star-to-be in Annie Jr., Medda Larkin in Disney’s Newsies Jr., and Trix the Aviatrix in The Drowsy Chaperone! She also proudly holds the title of Junior Advisory Board President here at SYT. Adison is so thankful for these past three years, and would like to thank Adam, Maddie, Connor, and Ashley for all they’ve done to encourage her and make SYT her second home. Giroux Morelock (Edmund Pevensie) made his SYT debut in the fall production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical and is thankful to be back in a dramatic role. He was previously in SLT’s production of School of Rock and has been performing with Inman Children’s Theatre for several years with over 13 productions. He just finished Guys and Dolls Jr. and will be playing Mowgli in the upcoming production of The Jungle Book at his school. He attends Florence Chapel Middle School and is an academic all-star who loves a good challenge, but the arts are where he thrives. He enjoys creative writing, drawing, music and being around animals. Giroux would like to thank all the special people who have influenced and guided him to this point.
Wren Padgett (Ensemble) is delighted to join her friends in Narnia. Since 2021, Wren has appeared in several Spartanburg Youth Theatre productions. Her favorite role being Clare in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Wren is a student at McCracken Middle and enjoys piano, percussion and chorus. She would like to thank Connor and Ashley for their encouragement and support.
Abigail Peuser (Susan Pevensie) is a sophomore at Spartanburg High School and is excited to be back on the SYT stage. Abigail has performed with SYT, SLT, SHS Viking Theatre, D7, and Dorman Theatre Department. Some of her favorite roles include Gladys in SYT's The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Fish in SYT's Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, Louisa in SLT's The Sound of Music, Maud in D7's The Music Man, Evie in Dorman's Descendants Jr., and Juror 4 in Viking Theatre's 12 Angry Jurors. She would like to thank Connor, Ashley, and Adam for the opportunity to be in this production. Ali Claire Pingley (White Stag/Ensemble) is excited to be returning to the stage with Spartanburg Youth Theatre. She was most recently seen as Summer in Spartanburg Little Theatre’s School of Rock. She has performed in six shows at SYT, with favorite roles including the Yellow Dragon in Dragons Love Tacos and Thing 2 in Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat. Offstage she is a 7th grader at McCracken Middle School and enjoys art, music, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She would like to think Connor, Ashley, and the rest of the production team for this opportunity.
Betsy Ratterree (Unicorn) is in 7th grade at McCracken Middle School. Being a part of the SYT family is her favorite thing! She was last seen in A Christmas Carol and enjoyed being on crew for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical. Betsy also loves playing basketball for MMS, Wyldlife, travel and spending time with friends. She wouldn’t be able to do it all without the love and support of her family!
Haleigh Roberts (Mrs. Beaver) is so excited to be playing the role of Mrs. Beaver! As a kid seeing this show, the beavers were her favorites and she’s so excited to share her version with all of you. Haleigh is a junior at High Point Academy and has been doing theatre since she was little. This is her second show with SYT, having recently played Susan in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical. Other notable roles include Anna in Frozen, Jovie in Elf, Glory in Almost Maine, and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Haleigh would like to thank her family and friends for all their support, as well as her theatre and choir teachers for helping her grow into the actor she is today. Enjoy the show!
Selah Rodriguez (Centaur) has been in SYT productions before, such as Matilda in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. She is a 7th grader at Dawkins Middle School. She loves playing the violin, and reading lots of books in her free time. Her favorite subject is ELA. She would like to give a shoutout to her grandparents for always encouraging her and always showing up to support her. They light up her world!
Sophie Grace Rollins (Dwarf) is thrilled to make her Spartanburg Youth Theatre debut! She has performed for several years with the Inman Children’s Theater. Her most recent roles include The Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz, and Beetlejuice in the Rock and Roll Graveyard Review. She attends Mabry Middle School, and enjoys reading, journaling, drawing, singing, playing upright bass and piano. Sophie Grace would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support!
Keaton Smith (Lucy Pevensie) is grateful to be performing with SYT once again. Of all the things she enjoys doing, theatre is at the top of her list. Keaton is a homeschooled fourth grader, where there seems to be far more drama than should be allowed. She would like to thank Adam, Connor and Ashley for their hard work and dedication, and this opportunity. She would like to thank the entire SYT community for being a fun, challenging, rewarding space to belong. Keaton would also like to thank her friends and family for their encouragement and support.
Jonathan Wilson (Peter Pevensie) feels right at home in the theater. Some of his favorite roles include Scar in Disney’s The Lion King Jr., Frank Heffley in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical, Gilbert Blythe in Anne of Green Gables, and ensemble in The Sound of Music. This past summer his skills were challenged and stretched in the musical Songs for a New World. He takes voice and violin and also enjoys playing video games and reading fantasy novels. Jonathan has been accepted into Clemson University’s engineering program next fall. He hopes to stay involved in musical theatre.
Stephen Wilson (Ensemble) has loved his time at SYT. His most recent credits include The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition (Ensemble), Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical (Rowley), and The Rainbow Fish (Ensemble). Stephen is beginning his fifth year of piano and starting his first year of voice. He enjoys reading Harry Potter, The Three Investigators, and learning about engineering through Crunch Labs. Stephen loves spending time with his siblings and playing board and video games.
Hannah Winkler (Ensemble) is excited for her fourth production at SYT, with some of her favorite credits including Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical (8th Grader) and Dragons Love Tacos (White Dragon). When she is not doing theatre, you can find her playing volleyball and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank Connor and Ashley for this amazing opportunity and her parents for always supporting her.
Evan Wood (Fenris Ulf) is so excited to be a part of this production and get to work with Connor for the first time! Evan has been doing theatre for three years and doesn’t plan to stop! Some of his favorite credits include Joshie in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical, Rudolpho in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr., and R.F. Simpson in Singin’ in the Rain.
Colleen Zare (Ensemble) is so excited to be participating in her first SYT production, joining her sister, Aisley. She is a 4th grader at Monarch Elementary School and enjoys playing volleyball and piano in her free time. She would like to thank her family and the whole team of the show for their support!
Aisley Zare (Elf/Ensemble) is overjoyed to be participating in her third show at SYT. She is a 10th grader at St. Joseph’s and was recently seen in Songs for a New World as well as in the ensemble of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. at SYT. Other favorite roles include Zaneeta in The Music Man and Old Doll in Edward Tulane. Her next project will be playing DJ in Cyrano de BurgerShack. She wants to thank her family, friends, Connor, Ashley, and Adam for their support!
Claudia Comer is excited for her first production with SYT, and her first time on crew. Claudia is a homeschool student and she loves doing theatre. She is very excited and hopes you enjoy the show.
Katelynn Comer is so excited to be crewing her first production at SYT! She has previously performed with Dorman Theatre Department several times and crewed for shows with the Dorman Theatre Department as well. Katelynn is in 9th grade at Dorman Freshman Campus where she enjoys theatre and geometry. She would like to thank her loving family for all they do for her.
Eowyn Connor is so excited to be back at SYT again! She is a homeschooled 8th grader. This is her sixth time on crew with her most recent production being Little Shop of Horrors at SLT. Her favorite SYT production she has crewed is The Wizard of Oz. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Ensley Karow has been involved in community theatre for several years. Previous credits include Disney’s The Lion King Jr. at Greer Children's Theatre, SpongeBob The Musical and Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical at Landrum High School, and cast for Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. and crew for Disney’s The Lion King, Jr. at SYT. After graduation this spring, Ensley will be moving to Nashville, TN to attend Belmont University and pursue a career in the country music industry as a singer and songwriter.
Alexis Madden is very excited to participate in her first SYT production! She has been in the cast and crew for many productions with USC Upstate and Emmanuel Arts, including The Velveteen Rabbit and The Alibis. Alexis has also performed two original plays, Your Dinner with a Side of Death and InQuestigation: A Medieval Murder Mystery. She’s a senior at the Scholars Academy, and her hobbies include video games, reading, and miniature painting.
Dylan Morrison is excited to be crewing his first show with SYT. He has performed in several shows in the past and wants to know what it is like on the other side of the stage. He also hopes that you enjoy the show!
Marissa Rolison is 15 years old really enjoys theater and photography. This is her first time doing crew and is very grateful for the experience!
John Scott is excited to crew his 6th show at SYT. He has loved every second of it! The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is his favorite book of all time, and he is honored to be a part of telling it. He hopes you enjoy the show! Sophie Varner is excited to crew for Connor and Ashley again! Sophie has enjoyed working with SYT for over 3 years and most recently in the ensemble of The Wizard of Oz. She is a senior at Dorman High School and loves taking acting classes at SYT. Sophie plays piano and enjoys singing in her church choir. SYT is her second home, and she loves the friends she has made here. Sophie would like to thank Connor, Ashley, Adam, and Sidney for this opportunity.
