Behaviour of passive (RLC) charges in the frequency domain

moving the sliders you can change the values for R, L and C. Observe the behaviour of the curves.

The negative part of the x-axis has no physical meaning, it is a mathematical artifact. There are no negative frequencies.

Selecting the box "frequencies", the blue line will be substituted by three points at the desired frequencies (move the blue points on the x-axis)

The curves depict the variation of Y = -B/w with the frequency (horizontal x-axis)

Where B is the susceptance (imaginary part of the admittance I/V), and w = 2pif

Behaviour of a compensator with 5 branches in the frequency domain

The compensator (shunt) is made by three CL branches (black sliders) and two additionalC and L elements (green sliders).

The red curve shows their overall frequency behaviour.

You can select several frequencies (blue points on the x-axis), and the app shows the compensation points (blue dots linked by blue segments).

In practical cases, these compensation points will be given by the operating conditions, and our task will be to find the corresponding arrangement of branches at the compensator that assures that the red curve passes through these blue points.
