Curious Minds
STEM Summer Camp
Welcome!
COME JOIN THE CURIOUS MINDS FOR A FUN-FILLED SUMMER CAMP!
It is important to introduce young kids to the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) at an early stage as it encourages exploration and curiosity. "Curious Minds STEM Summer Camp" is a fun and immersive way of learning various aspects of STEM. These aspects will be taught through engaging lessons, games, and activities that will spark students' interests in STEM as well as grow the STEM community.
This is a 5-day summer camp for kids aged 9 to 12, hosted at Lyon Township Public Library in collaboration with the library. The camp will be held on August 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th. All the materials required for the projects and activities of the camp will be provided. Students are expected to bring their own lunch each day. A light packaged snack (nut-free) and water or juice will be provided, courtesy of Lyon Township Public Library. Students should also bring a laptop computer or tablet for Day 1 for programming lessons and if this is not possible, please contacts us as soon as possible. Lyon Township Public Library will be partially sponsoring the costs of the camp. To cover the remainder of the cost the registration fee will be $70 per student for the entire five-day camp. Please use the link to the registration form provided at the bottom of this page. The registration form has three payment options ( PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle). After your payment is made the student will be registered. The registration fee is not refundable and the student is expected to attend all five days. To begin your student's STEM journey, please fill out the registration form.
Registration fee: $70
Seats are limited to a first come first serve basis
