First i:KYO meeting was a success! +20 members creatively brainstormed on the topic of “What improvements could be made at NMH?” and came up with +100 ideas in 10 min 🙌 Winning idea was a Drone delivery service to dorm rooms💡// Sept 25. 2019.
Second i:KYO meeting was ran by returners, new comers, and a student presenter who gave a presentation on her social entrepreneurship project, Moonrise, with the goal of providing easily accessible information on menstrual cycles using braille 👏 //October 9. 2019
“We love i:KYO!” Our third meeting was led by a senior presenter who created a Navigational Device for the Visually Impaired 👀 Student entrepreneurs brainstormed and came up with 91 ideas!💡 //Nov 6. 2019
A senior entrepreneur presented her work "Senior Sprouts", a non-profit social enterprise that seeks to improve mental health in nursing homes through horticultural therapy, a form of therapy through the engagement of a person in gardening or other plant-based activities. //Dec 4. 2019
Global Ambassadors joined our 5th i:KYO meeting and brainstormed a total of 106 good/bad/improvements to be made on the annual International Carnival! Their feedbacks were later given to the Global Engagement Office 🌐 //Feb 2. 2020
i:KYO members from across the globe participated in our first online meeting with a Japanese start-up, mymizu! With a total of 6 participants, we came up with 103 creative ideas in 20 minutes of brainstorming session 💭 //May 20. 2020
