General FAQ's:

Where are the classes located?

Right now all of our classes are being held in Daleville, VA. Specific address will be provided once you are registered.

How long are the classes?

Classes are 1.5-2 hours and I will start on time so that I can fit all the instructions in! While I ask that you show up on time, if you're running late it's okay. I will get you caught up the class. (Remember that classes are non-refundable so please still join even if you are late!)

Can I sign up by myself?

Absolutely! If you love cookies then I want you there! Want to go with friends? Be sure to reserve enough tickets for everyone!

What's the age limit?

This class is perfect for ages 12+, but if you'd like to leave the kid at home, purchase an add-on kit! The kits are great for kids at home.

Do you hold spots?

Space is limited so I cannot hold spots without a reservation.

What if I can't decorate cookies?

These classes are meant for beginners just like you! I will teach you the basics including icing consistency & piping techniques as I guide you through decorating. Recipes will also be provided after the class. (If advanced classes are offered in the future it will be noted if any experience is necessary.)

Can I transfer a ticket?

Yes! Just email me the name & contact information of the person you would like to transfer the ticket to.

Will I be able to cancel?

All class sales are final and non-refundable.

Do you offer private classes?

Yes! Email me at brandy@cupcakesandcanines.com to discuss having a private group class!

Do you sell supplies?

No, but I will provide you with links to some of the products we use in class in case you want to continue decorating at home.

Are the cookies allergen friendly?

Many of our products contain dairy, eggs, gluten and/or nuts and those ingredients are present in our kitchen.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable! If you're feeling extra festive bring an apron to get in the cookie mood. It's not necessary but totally cool!

Cookie Class FAQ's:

What do I need to bring?

Nothing! I will have everything you need to create a cookie masterpiece. You are welcome to bring a non-alcoholic beverage but water & coffee will be provided during the class.

Will everyone get their own supplies?

Yes! Each participant will get a set of cookies & icing plus the tools to decorate. I will also provide you with a box to take your cookies home with you.

Do we keep our cookies?

Of course! A box will be provided so you can take them home to dry (recommended) or at least to your car before you dig in.

Do we get recipes?

Sure will. As long as your email address is on file you will receive a recipe for both cookies & royal icing after the class ends.

How long does it take for the cookies to dry?

It can take 24-48 hours for a cookie to fully dry. You will want to keep them in a box on a flat surface until they are dry. Or you can eat them if you can't wait!

Will you post pictures of the class?

Of course! I want everyone to see your works of art so at the end of the class we will snap a picture of you & your cookies to be posted on the Cupcakes & Canines Facebook and/or Instagram so you can also share with your friends!
