Clay Techniques:
We try to cover one or more of these common clay techniques in our projects.
Coiling
Pinch Pot
Slab Rolling
Attaching clay to clay:
Clay doesn’t just stick together. You need to score the sides you want to attached.
The 4 S’s steps in attaching clay together
Score - Score the areas you want to stick.
Slip -Slip is clay/water mixed but in our case we dab water on the score marks.
Stick - Make a good seal/bond gently to the two clay pieces.
Smooth - Smooth the edges with a finger.
