Introducing our Head Coach: Drake Poole 💚

Hey Catfish! It’s Coach Drake, and I’m beyond excited to be the next Head Coach at Cumberland Hill! After being a swimmer on the team for 14 years and an assistant coach for the past four summers, I’m proud to take this next step. This past year, I also was an assistant coach with the Beaumont Barracudas, which was an awesome learning experience. This summer, I’m all about bringing back the Catfish Family where swimmers make friends from all neighborhoods and all ages. I can’t wait to see everyone this summer, let’s have a great season! 

Introducing Coach : Reese Burden 💚

Hey guys! I’m Coach Reese! I am 19 years old and I am attending the University of Kentucky with a major of business management while also being a part of the Lewis Honors College! I have been a part of this team since 2013 and also swam on Lexington Dolphins for around 11 years. This will be my fourth summer as a swimmer coach and I cannot wait to see all the swimmers again along with some new faces! Let’s make the 2026 season our best one yet! 

Introducing Coach: Maddie Bates💚

Hi Catfish! I am Coach Maddie. I am 16 years old and attend Tates Creek High School. I’ve been a Catfish since I was 4 years old and I swam competitively for 7 years. I love working with swimmers and getting to know them better. I know that we are going to have a great summer and I can’t wait to get started!
