• Across the Caribbean dance plays a vital part of our heritage. Caribbean dance evolved from complex influence such as slavery and colonialism. Caribbean Dance has taken many elements of dance from ceremonies of indigenous culture from like the Tanios who lived several island such as Cuba and Jamaica. The French and Spanish colonist brought their own music and dance which was later infused by the Africans as they have their gatherings.
