ABOUT Cultura is an inter-borough 501(c)(3) non-profit organization launched in 2023 by a group of four students at Leonia High School, New Jersey. Since then, we have grown to over 30 members over five U.S. states, dedicated to promoting the ethnic, cultural, and linguistic diversity worldwide. 

MISSION At Cultura, our mission is to deliver free, high-quality education to expand the cultural knowledge of people worldwide. We work through various programs, like CONNECT, a global ESL education program, and CULTURA, our cultural e-magazine. We also run occasional in-person events, such as fundraisers and drives to benefit various charities and organizations in the New York area. 

IMPACT Through CONNECT, we are able to connect passionate students of English from Canada, Ecuador, Kenya,  South Korea, and Turkey through video calling to our volunteer tutors in the U.S., for free. The other half of Cultura, our e-magazine of the same name, is run by American high school students passionate about journalism and cultural education to create three biannual editions that seek to inform on important cultural customs, heritage, history, and more.
