Internal Discussions and Reflections:
Book Clubs: The District administrative team is currently reading several critical works in the areas of addressing racism, being anti-racist, understanding white fragility, and much more to identify what books may be of particular interest and need to our professional community. We are also looking for similar books to help examine struggles and stereotypes that affect the LGBTQIA community.
We anticipate that the District will be purchasing several copies of the following titles (as well as looking to team members and outside experts for additional suggestions) and facilitating book club discussions to educate ourselves, reflect, and think critically about the possible changes needed.
