  • National Handloom Day


Cultural committee has organized online ‘National Handloom Day’ at the time of lockdown. The committee conducted e-quiz on 7-8-2020 & elocution competition on 10-8-2020 having its theme as ‘Identity of Indian Culture & Society’.

  • Rangoli Celebrations


The committee held Rangoli competitions on 9-1-2020.Students participated in the Rangoli competitions in groups and made beautiful Rangolis within the time limit given.The theme decided was Eco- friendly Rangoli for staff and students.Dr.k.Gautami the Correspondent of A.V.College was invited to judge & announce the winners.

  • Bathukamma Celebrations(P.G.)- 1-10-2019

Cultural committee of P.G.College celebrated “Bathukamma Festival “on Oct 12th, 2018. Bathukamma is prepared and brought to the ground for dancing and singing around it by students and faculty. Regional folk songs are being sung while celebrating this event. Around 240 students have participated from all the P.G. departments.

The committee has celebrated the festival of Bathukamma on 27-09-2019. Bathukamma the festival of flowers is celebrated by young girls.The Committee has organised for the bathukamma making competition,students were trained for prayer song and bathukamma songs and special numbers .

  • National Handloom Day

National Handloom Day was celebrated on 7th of August 2019.Mr.Oblesh the Manager of TESCO liberty was invited who briefed the students about the importance of traditional handloom wear and its making.The Cultural Coir were trained to sing the prayer song and the students who wore traditional wear were given the opportunity to walk the Ramp and flaunt their outfits.
