Our teams are motivated by the tangible impact of preserving Taiwan's cultural heritage while creating sustainable tourism opportunities for Hakka and indigenous communities. The meaningful connection formed between students, local culture bearers, and international visitors fuels our commitment to showcase Taiwan's cultural mosaic authentically.

Cultural Bridges: Our Team Mosaic

Our eight diverse teams bring unique strengths to Taiwan's cultural storytelling, from specialized roles in translation workflows to passionate cultural ambassadors. United by respect for heritage, each team approaches their cultural focus area—whether Hakka cuisine, indigenous museums, or cultural centers—with meticulous attention to authenticity.

Our four-member team brings diverse expertise to showcase Hakka cuisine: Oliver handles translations, Anakin reviews linguistic accuracy, Elaine ensures content quality, and Dora manages project timelines. Together, we're committed to introducing visitors to the rich diversity of Hakka culinary traditions rarely experienced by outsiders.

Our team explores Beitou, whose name derives from the indigenous term "Kipatauw" (meaning "witch"), reflecting local beliefs about its hot springs. We're fascinated by this area's unique blend of indigenous lore and urban development, highlighting how natural landscapes and cultural traditions together shape community identity.

We are Jen and Bevin, dedicated to showcasing the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines. Our translations aim to promote Taiwan's Indigenous cultures while fostering greater understanding and respect among diverse ethnic groups, making these rich traditions accessible to international visitors.

Our group, Jeanny, Maple, Nicole, and Rachel, are honored to present the Ketagalan Cultural Center and the diverse cultures of indigenous people in Taiwan in our USR program. Through our work, we have gained a deeper understanding of indigenous lifestyles and form a closer connection with its beautiful history.

We are Iris, Allen, Carrisa, and Kayden. Our group presents Hakka culture, focusing on Hakka community in Tonghua Street. Through this project, we hope to share its unique traditions and strengthen our appreciation for cultural heritage and teamwork.

Hello, readers! We are TeamOK — Ruby, Angelica, and Alisa juniors from the Department of English Langual and Culture at Soochow University. In every translation task, we strive for efficiency, accuracy, and getting it right the first time. With vivid and lively language, we aim to share the joy of reading with every reader.

We are a dedicated team of five professionals—Keanna, Catherine, Jayden, Alex, and Scott—specializing in interpreting and translation tasks. With a strong sense of collaboration and mutual support, we work seamlessly together to ensure each project is completed with precision and care. Each member takes responsibility for a key part of the workflow, including glossary creation, pre-editing, the use of AI tools, and post-editing. Our combined expertise and teamwork allow us to deliver high-quality, consistent results across all assignments.

We are Kevin, Eric, and Zoe, and the topic we are introducing is the Indigenous Peoples' Park located in Shilin District. By providing an introduction in English, we hope that people from all over the world can understand and learn more about the beautiful indigenous cultures and maybe even have the chance to come visit!
