Amy White, a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), has been an educator for 16 years, teaching both elementary intermediate grades (4-5th) and middle school. From 2021-2024, she was a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for Equity in her district, where she worked to systematize change in order to ensure students' needs are met. She's supported individuals, teams, and provided district-wide professional development aligned with Washington State's Cultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) standards. She is also passionate about building community, especially with students, through facilitating class meetings grounded in the value of "treat everyone with dignity."
Amy lives in Washington State with her spouse. Some of her favorite things include reading, drinking tea, taking naps, and journaling.
