Cultivate360 aims to make private Maths tuition a reality throughout South Africa. Our unique model mitigates the adverse impact logistical and financial challenges have on the availability and accessibility of private Maths tutoring.
As experienced educators we comprehend the multitude of challenges schools, teachers, and students face each day. Pressure to complete the curriculum as well as extra-curricular responsibilities, regularly prevents teachers from doing what they were called to do: to meet each child at their level and help them to conquer the next stage. Unfortunately, those suffering the most due to this reality are the students. Those students whose parents can afford extra classes or private tutoring, and have access to transportation are usually able to keep their heads above water. However, such students are in the greater minority.
And that is where Cultivate360 comes in.
The availability of modern technology allows us to bring private tutoring to your home at your convenience. Upon joining students complete a series of curriculum-aligned placement tests which we analyse to determine their various areas of strengths and weaknesses. This data is then comprehensively shared with especially students and parents, and even schools if requested.
Next, we develop highly individualised, differentiated learning plans that address each student’s needs according to the results of their placement tests. Students can consequently complete the weekly plan at their own time and convenience. We also integrate our learning plans with self grading platforms that provide students with immediate feedback - they will thus know if they are on track or need to revise their answers.
Additionally, we provide live, virtual tutoring sessions through our online meeting platform to either check up on the student's learning plan progress and provide assistance, or to help them with school-related tasks, assignments, and assessments.
