Cuenca Tour is a full day tour. We are making some suggestions for you to fully enjoy it.
CLOTHES AND SHOES
The first thing you need to know is that most of the visit takes place outdoors, so we recommend you to wear adequate clothing depending on the season. In the weather link you will find all the necessary info about the climate on the day of your visit.
During Summer it is strongly recommended to wear light clothes, comfortable shoes, a hat or umbrella, sunblock and water.
In the Winter, temperatures are sometimes below 5º making it essential to wear warm clothes, gloves and a scarf.
The first part of the tour takes place at the Enchanted City, a natural place in the middle of the Mountain Ranges of Cuenca, so we recommend comfortable shoes that are suitable for this kind of visit.
TOUR DIFFICULTY
This tour is recommended for all audiences and all ages, except to people with reduced mobility.
The first part of the tour is a 3km walk around the Enchanted City. This natural place presents a path that is easy to walk. It is a comfortable trail of around 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.
After lunch we will go on the guided visit through the historical center of Cuenca. This walk takes around 2 hours with a short break of around 15 minutes at Plaza Mayor (next to the Cathedral). This is a very easy stroll in which we will always walk downslope through the city.
BEVERAGES AND MEALS
We recommend you to make a reservation in one of the restaurants shown on this guide.
We recommend taking somer water and snacks with you. Nevertheless, you will get the chance to buy beverages and snacks during the first stop before arriving to Cuenca, at the Enchanted City and in the short break at Plaza Mayor, where you will find shops with snacks and souvenirs as well as bars and restaurants.
