Privacy Policy

CUE, by Steppe Summit Studio
CUE is built to keep your event data on your device. We do not run accounts, servers, analytics, or trackers. Your run sheets, vendors, and notes are yours, they stay on your device, and the only time anything leaves the device is when you personally use an AI feature.
What we collect
Nothing on our end. CUE has no account system, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising tools. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, usage, or device identifiers. There is no server that receives your data.
Where your data lives
Every event, cue, vendor, plan, template, and setting you create is stored locally on your device. It is included in your encrypted device backups only if you use iCloud Backup, which is controlled entirely by Apple and your settings, not by us.
AI features
AI features are the only features that use the network, and only when you tap them. When you do, the details of that one event, such as cue titles, times, vendor roles, and any notes you included, are sent to an AI provider (Anthropic) through a secure relay to produce the result. This content is processed to generate your output. We do not attach your identity and we do not store these requests on a server of ours. If you never use an AI feature, the app makes no network requests with your event data.
Contacts and photos
If you import a vendor from your Contacts, the system shows a one-time picker and passes back only the contact you choose. If you add a business logo, the photo picker returns only the image you select. These stay on your device.
Notifications
Reminders and day-of alerts are scheduled locally on your device. They are not push notifications and involve no server.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive only an anonymous indicator of whether extra features are active. We never see your payment details.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. There are no third-party advertisers or data brokers. Exports are created on your device and shared only where you choose.
Children
CUE is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Your control
You can delete any event at any time, or erase all app data from Settings. Deleting the app removes all of its on-device data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
