Popcorn Fundraiser
Every fall, we fundraise for our pack using Trail's End popcorn and fundraising system. It can offset the full cost of scouting for your child, and helps fund our activities and supplies. For instance, we provide fishing rods, tackle boxes, and pocket knives to our scouts. (Pocket knives are based on age and achievement of certain safety training qualifications, and parent approval of course)

We have often seen that 1 hour of fundraising is enough to reach Tier 1 and earn reimbursement of pack dues!

How to sell popcorn
First, sign up in the Trails End app (register with code 896BT)
Storefront shift sales
If you are first shift of the day, pickup popcorn, banner and table from Andrew's or Ethan's
Set it up near the storefront where you see good foot traffic
If your shift is following another scouts, the table will already be setup
Have your scout say "Hi, would you like to support me in scouts" to everyone they see
Many will say no, some will say yes
Thank everyone you see, regardless of their response
Encourage your scout to "do your best" (the cub scout motto). A snack or treat keeps them going
If you are last shift of the day, box up remaining popcorn, pack up and go
