About the Leaders
Each leader is a volunteer from the community that is interested in helping your children learn, grow, and have fun along the way! Each has passed a background check, Safegarding Youth training, and position specific training to make sure that we are trained and prepared to offer the best quality pack program for your family.
We are always looking for more volunteers! Even if you do not want to become a Den Leader or other registered leader you can still help! Take our Family Talent Survey to tell us how you feel comfortable supporting our pack!
If you have any questions please feel free to contact any of us individually, or email the pack at pack8bva@gmail.com

Justin’s Scouting journey began as a Tiger Cub in Pack 239 (Lebanon, VA), where he earned his Arrow of Light before going on to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout in 2007 with Troop 408. Today, he’s proud to give back to the program as Cubmaster, having also served as a Den Leader. Off the trail, Justin works as a data analyst, enjoys spending time outdoors, and loves sharing the Scouting experience with his two kids, who are both active in the pack.

Timber’s Scouting journey began in 2019, when she stepped up as a Den Leader for her oldest child in Kansas—and she’s been an active, dedicated leader ever since! Today, she proudly serves as our Committee Chair, helping guide and support the program behind the scenes. Scouting is a true family affair for Timber, who currently has three kids in the program: one in the pack and two in the troop. Her years of commitment to youth development and service earned her the prestigious District Award of Merit, and she continues to bring that same energy, experience, and heart to every aspect of our unit.

As a first-time Scouting parent and new Den Leader, Chasidy is thrilled to be part of the pack family! With two kids involved in Cub Scouts, taking on a leadership role felt like the perfect way to share in their journey. Chasidy is looking forward to learning the ropes right alongside the scouts, building strong community ties, and making every meeting a fun, hands-on adventure.
