Our older 4th and 5th grade scouts are invited to join us in a more rustic cabin. This cabin is a wood stove heated cabin. We will only be using the cabin for sleeping.
All beds are bunk beds with a mattress. Scouts will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow or sheets and a blanket.

Cub Scout meetings are held by Grade / Den and are for both Boys and Girls in K-5th. Each Den works on a series of adventures that build skills. Each Adventure (set of requirements) earns the scout an award but most importantly, each adventure leads to FUN!
What's the cost for Scouting? We strive to keep scouting cost effective. Total cost for the Scout year is $305 ($155 BSA Dues & $150 Activity Fee).
All Scouts have required "Dues" of $155 which is implemented for Registration with ScoutsBSA (billed yearly). This covers the program, insurances, and resources to run a Cub Scout Pack. None of this amount stays local to our Pack.
All of our Pack Events, Awards, and Supplies are supplied through a Popcorn Fundraiser in the Fall. If Families prefer not to do the fundraiser or sign up after October. There is a $150 Activity Fee which covers the Scouts portion they would have fundraised ($75 Activity fee if signed up in January). See Parent Resource page for more details.
In addition, we have a Special Pack Event every month. We have spent the night aboard the Battleship NJ, presented the US Flag for the National Anthem at a Reading Royals game, camped out on the field after a Reading Phillies game, participated in a series of Community Service projects and march yearly in the Coatesville Christmas Parade. We also enjoy traditional Scouting activities such as: our annual Pinewood Derby race; Weekend Winter Cabin Camping; Fishing; Tent camping and Hiking. Summer Day or Overnight camps are available as well.
Scouting is family friendly fun! Parents and siblings are welcome to participate in everything we do. Meet New Friends, Develop Good Values, Experience Fun Events: Be A Scout!
