Parents do!! Parents are the Volunteers for the Pack! We get to have fun and make memories and watch our kids grow and do hard things. It's an incredible experience to be with these young scouts as they learn new things. 

Why become a leader? Your child will spend 75% of all the time they will ever spend with you by the time they turn 12. Make the most of that time doing an adventure together. Going on this adventure with your child builds a strong relationship and long lasting memories you will both carry with you for the rest of your lives. You will also get to witness so many new first for them. First time they camp, first time they use a pocket knife or overcome a big fear. It is truly the best part of being a leader and why Pack 12 has many dedicated leaders that stick around after their kids move on to the Troop.
