History
Pack 306 is the Cub Scout Pack associated with Scout Troop 306. Troop 306 has continuously operated since 1911. Cub Scout Pack 306 also has a long history. Formed in 1992, Pack 65 (founded by Don Hirst) had been hosted by the Catonsville Lutheran Church on Old Frederick Road until 2013. Finding itself without a sponsor, they were welcomed back at Catonsville Presbyterian Church. In 2017, Pack 842 joined us as well. In 2019, Pack 306 welcomed girls to the Pack.

Become a Cub Scout Leader
Becoming a leader is a great way to connect with your scout and to contribute to the program. The scouting program is not just for kids. You'll find that by teaching the principles of scouting to youth, you will be learning (or remembering) it yourself.
Is it Hard?
Scout USA provides leader manuals for each Den. In this manual, there are pre-written lesson plans for every Scouting adventure. Following these lesson plans or designing your own with the support of your Den and Pack leaders will ensure your Den has a great Scouting year. Tag teaming with an Assistant Den Leader is also a great way to share the joy of Scouting.
Why do we need so many leaders?
One of the reasons we need so many adults is because we follow the "two-deep leadership" as defined by the Scouts USA Youth Protection Mission Statement. In short, this means we need two, youth protection trained adult leaders for all Dens at all times. Contact cubmaster@cub360.org or comchair@cub306.org if you are interested in volunteering.
