For example, one adventure is to have a conversation with a local community leader, and another is to learn about healthy eating habits. Other past den activities include Scout Night at Stanford Athletics, arts and crafts with local artists, orienteering.
For more information about the Cub Scouts program, see the Advancement Trail.
The "Pack" includes all the scouts from Kindergarten through 5th grade. The Pack meets as a whole roughly once per month; usually on Thursday evenings or Sunday afternoons, depending on the event.
A "Den" is a subgroup of the Pack with about ~5-10 members of the same age group. Each Den has its own meetings about once a month (usually on weekends), as scheduled by the Den's adult Den Leader.
The Pack is run entirely by volunteers. There is an expectation that each family contribute to running a coupe events, or taking on a leadership role, which is a great way to demonstrate to our scouts how to be a good citizen and how to be leader.
Pack often occur at Oak Knoll Elementary School, but locations do vary, depending on the event. Please verify the location for each event.
Den meeting locations are specific to each Den. Den meetings may occur at a school, a den members home, or an activity location.
