"Doing service projects together is one way that Cub Scouts keep their promise “to help other people.” While a Scout should do his best to help other people every day, a group service project is a bigger way to help people. While you’re giving service, you’re learning to work together with others to do something that’s good for your community." - Scouting America 

Pack 118 participates in several service projects throughout the year, including: 

• Disable Veterans Flag Pole insulation 

• Scout Sunday 

• Scouting for Food 

• Park clean up 

Packs all across the nation participate in fundraising efforts to support the scouting program. Pack 118 holds three fundraisers a year. 

• We have a support a scout calendar to assist  for scouts $85 charter fees. 

• We sell popcorn in the fall to assist  for scouts $90 pack fees. 

•  Blue and Gold Silent Auction funds raised goes directly to the Pack to pay for events, food, and campouts.  

Blue & Gold celebrates the anniversary of founding Scouting America (Feb. 8, 1910). Pack 97 celebrates Blue & Gold every February client auction and potluck. We have entertainment provided from the scouts and a great family time!
