Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type and are particularly versatile. They have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibration which enables high rotational speeds. They accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, are easy to mount, and require less maintenance than other bearing types.

Domax single row angular contact ball bearings can accommodate axial loads in one direction only. This type of bearing is typically adjusted against a second bearing. Their bearing rings have an upper and a lower shoulder and are non-separable.

Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a common sphered raceway in the outer ring and two deep uninterrupted raceway grooves in the inner ring They are available open or sealed. The bearings are insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing (fig. 1), which can be caused, for ex-ample, by shaft deflection.
Compared to any other type of rolling bearing, self-aligning ball bearings generate the lowest friction and lower temperature rise even at high speeds.

Needle roller and cage assemblies are self-contained, ready-to-mount bearings. In applications where the shaft and housing bore can serve as raceways, the assemblies can be used to create bearing arrangements that require minimal radial space.

Domax single row tapered roller bearings are designed to accommodate combined loads, i.e. simultaneously acting radial and axial loads. The projection lines of the raceways meet at a common point on the bearing axis to provide a true rolling action and therefore low frictional moments during operation. The axial load carrying capacity of tapered roller bearings increases with increasing contact angle a. The size of the contact angle, which is usually between 10° and 30°.

Thrust roller bearings are designed to accommodate heavy axial loads and impact loads. They must not be subjected to any radial load. The bearings are very stiff and require little axial space.

The needle roller thrust bearing is equipped with a molded cage, and all needle rollers inside the bearing can be reliably fixed and guided. Needle roller thrust bearings can provide very high stiffness in a very small axial space. In applications where adjacent machine components can be used as raceways, needle roller thrust bearings occupy less space than traditional thrust washers.
Extend the service life of bearings
The roller has pressure relief chamfers at both ends to optimize the linear contact between the raceway and the roller, which can prevent stress concentration at both ends of the roller.
Spherical roller thrust bearings have specially designed raceways and asymmetric rollers. Bearings can withstand axial loads acting in one direction and radial loads acting simultaneously. The load is transmitted between the ring raceways through rollers at a certain angle to the bearing axis, while the retaining edge guides the rollers.
