The Torrington Collective, or TOCO, is a community of media creators around Torrington that report on business, art, food, culture, etc. They're known collaborators with Howard's Bookstore on 25 Main Street, long time friends and collaborators with CT Sets (even before this name!), as well as making changes around town like putting a ping pong table in Salt 2.0 on 84 Main Street.

The famous Howard's building in Torrington, formerly Howard's Shoe Store which closed down in 1996 (open since 1939), is now a bookstore and music venue! Howard's Bookstore is a great place for the arts and other events, and is the heart of Torrington. On 25 Main Street, many artists converge including CT.Sets, the Torrington Collective, and many musicians as they host shows about twice a month. This business breathes life into this historic building. "Would you like to see the old bowling alley upstairs? They built a radio station right in the middle of it!" - John Noelke, the owner of Howard's Bookstore.
