Code of Conduct

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as organizers pledge to make participation in our workshop and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Workshops are meant for professional interactions, and any behavior which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting is unacceptable.

Our Responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Organizers have the right and responsibility to ban temporarily or permanently any participant for behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Reporting Violations

Violations of this code of conduct can be reported to the organizers by email, who will take appropriate action, possibly including warning or a ban. The organizers will do their utmost to keep the reporter anonymous. If the act is ongoing (such as someone engaging in harassment) or involves a threat to anyone’s safety (e.g., threats of violence), the organizers may issue sanctions without notice.
