About Us

The Resource Center is the hub for the library and information services in the Institute.Educational resources are considered as most important element of the center, and without it the center cannot achieve its main role. Building and developing collections to be made according to specific policy, made and adapted in order to satisfy center's goals. This policy should ensure the building and development of integrated collection that can help and enrich educational curricular.

These center contain traditional educational resources such as books, journals, software and audio/visual materials, but they also exist to promote electronic information resources. Examples of these electronic journals, databases, free websites and other web based resources Learning resources center's general aim is to ensure learning educational suitable environment that allows learner benefit from any kind of learning resource.

The collection of the Resource Center is rich and diverse, especially in terms of the breadth and depth of coverage. Collection encompasses subjects in communication technology, computer science, electronics, information technology, humanities and social sciences and related areas. This collection includes, books, conference proceedings, reference books, CD-ROMs, floppies, VCDs, DVDs, Video Cassettes etc. Currently, Resource Center has over 13500 books, over 750 CDs/DVDs, subscribes to more than 24 journals/magazines in print . Resource Center collection is growing rapidly and we hope to add four to five hundred unique titles every year.

The Resource Center operations and services are fully computerized using Libsys ILM software. Catalogue of the holdings is available on campus.
