ABSTRACT - The transition from conventional ICEs towards full electric vehicles is one of the effective strategies to decarbonise the transportation sector in our planet. And power electronics is one of the key enabling technologies that allow such goal. However, still there plenty of challenges and open questions when tackling the problem of making transportation efficient and CO2 neutral. Also, such challenges open interesting opportunities for nations like Vietnam with great potential for transportation electrification.
