Library Timings:

• Library Hours: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm

• Library will be closed on  Sundays and Public Holidays.

• Any change in the library hours will be notified from time to time.

General Rules:

• College ID card and Library Card is compulsory for getting access to the resources in the library (Books, Journals, Newspapers, Computer & Internet Facility)

• Silence is to be maintained at all times in library. Strict action will be taken against students who fail to do so.

• No discussion/group work is permitted inside the library unless a faculty has requested & authority has given permission.

• Bags to be kept on baggage rack.

• Eatables are not allowed in the library.

• Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in the library.

• Students are required to handle books and reading materials very carefully.

• Library membership card is non- transferable. Students must not lend their Library card to any other student to borrow books from the library. Library facilities will be suspended for students misusing cards.

• In case a student loses his/her Library card then the student should apply for a duplicate card on Library Counter. Rs. 50/-will be charged as fine for issuing the Duplicate Library card.

Issue-Return Rules:

• Book is issued for the period of 5 days including the day of issue.

• Thereafter they can reissue the same book twice/thrice.

• Re-issue of the books will depend upon the demand for the same.

• Reference books and journals/magazines cannot be issued.

• Without permission do not take any book or library resource out of the library.

• Every student is expected to read and strictly follow the instructions given on the reverse side of the Library Card.

• All cases of disregard of these rules will be reported to the principal for appropriate action.

​Rules for Fine:

• In case of late return the fine charged will be as follows:

• First week after the due date Rs.10/- per day.

• For second week after the due date Rs.15/- per day.

• For third week after the due date Rs.20/- per day.

• In fourth week after the due date Rs.25/- per day.

• While charging the fine holidays will be counted.

• In case a reader loses a book he/she should replace the book.

• In case the book cannot be replaced; the current price of the book will have to be paid.
