Current Trends in
Eco-Evo-Etho Research
02-04 September, 2025
Current aspects of biological research effectively includes the dynamic disciplines of Ecology (Eco), Evolution (Evo), and Animal behaviour or Ethology (Etho). The cross-disciplinary and multifaceted approaches of these areas make them very contemporary and are of interest for researchers, who intend to support the recent global academic and research perspectives, where the application of cutting-edge protocols and high-end techniques showed promising results in addressing important research questions regarding our biodiversity and the environment. The idea of barrierless research methodologies, where researchers from many domains with diverse experiences have successfully participated at the present paradigms of advanced research in the Eco-Evo-Etho fields.
The Ethophilia Research Foundation (ERF) is organizing this scientific meeting, "Current Trends in Eco-Evo-Etho Research", kindly supported by the Company of Biologists (United Kingdom). The aim of this meeting is to unite peers in the fields of Ecology, Evolutionary biology, and Ethology into an academic union, with several brainstorming sessions. This meeting will include scientific presentations (both oral and poster) on theoretical, computational, and experimental research. Additional preferences will be given to innovative research protocols and novel concepts in the Eco-Evo-Etho areas.
