The Inaugural joint Clinical and Translational Cardiology Conference (CTCC)

Welcome Message

It is our great pleasure to announce that the “The Inaugural Joint Clinical and Translational Cardiology Conference (CTCC)” will be held at the Yasumoto International Academic Park of The Chinese University of Hong Kong on the 26th and 27th May, 2018.

This Conference is jointly organized by academic staff from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Division of Cardiology, Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences, Jockey Club School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine; School of Life Sciences, Faculty of Science), the University of Hong Kong (Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, and Dr Li Dak-Sum Research Centre) and the Karolinska Institutet, Hong Kong (Ming Wai Lau Centre for Reparative Medicine). Our conference is officially endorsed by the Hong Kong College of Cardiology.

Our target audiences are primary care practitioners, medical doctors, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, paediatric cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, radiologists, pharmacists, nurses, other allied health professionals and cardiovascular scientists with an interest in cardiovascular medicine. The Conference aims to provide a platform for exchanges on the challenges and opportunities in maintaining cardiovascular health, discuss most recent innovations and foster collaborations in the Asia-Pacific Region. Renowned speakers include local experts from the three organizing universities, The Hong Kong College of Cardiology, The Food and Health Bureau of Hong Kong, and overseas experts from Mainland China, Japan, Greece, United Kingdom and United States.

Both days will consist of scientific sessions on cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, general cardiology, cardio-metabolic medicine, stroke and vascular medicine, epidemiology, and preventative medicine.
