Welcome to CT ASCD

The times in which we are living remain unprecedented. As educators we continue to learn from and need each other now more than ever. CT ASCD exists for our state to have an organization that addresses the needs of our educators and the students we serve.

I remain very grateful to CAPSS for your partnership. Executive Director Fran Rabinowitz and Professional Learning Facilitator Terry Carroll remain committed members of the Board of Directors, while Staff Associate for Digital Communications Paulien Rorick has created and maintains our website.

I am thankful, too, for the dedication of the Board members who are committed to supporting educators throughout the state. Our guiding statement showcases this commitment to improving teaching and learning through the following:

• Providing professional learning opportunities

• Serving as a catalyst for conversation and innovation

• Promoting equity in the profession and amongst students

• Advocating for the profession and students

We hope that the resources we are bringing you and will continue to develop and share assist you and your students.
