May Ragchew has been published!
We are one of South Africa's longest-running amateur radio clubs. An ongoing history is here.
We serve radio hams in the Cape Town area and environs.
We are an active radio club and take part in numerous varied activities.
We broadcast weekly club bulletins for members and interested listeners and hold regular radio nets.
We publish a members' newsletter called Ragchew every month.
We have the use of a remote-controlled base station at Morningstar.
We are involved with the VHF and UHF repeater network in the Western Cape. More on our Repeaters page.
We assist newcomers to our hobby, who must write the Radio Amateurs Exam to obtain a legal amateur radio license.
The club is run by a committee elected at the Annual General Meeting. You can find our constitution on the web site, as well as the minutes of the past AGMs.
