Feeder
The feeder is with a screw and oscillating agitator. It can be used in a wide range of applications such as to feed adhesive materials or materials with small bulk densities into mills or classifiers. It can also be used to feed small amounts of additives to mixers. It is easier to clean and disassemble.
The Feeder consists of a main body and hopper. Inside the hopper is an agitator that oscillates when the screw is turning preventing the material from bridging. This stabilizes the properties of the material entering the screw, leading to stable feeding.
The hopper, agitator and screw can be removed from the body easily for cleaning. The drive components are in the main body and are separated from the hopper with oil seals. The screw uses a spiral design without a center shaft. The screw speed is adjustable with an inverter between 15 to 115 rpm. For material with high flowability, an optional full blade screw is available.
