Raisa is a senior at South Windsor High School and the creator of this website who is currently working under Dr. Saud Anwar. She is a passionate and dedicated student activist striving to make a positive impact on the world around her and ensure equality and justice. She works on volunteer projects through her operation, "For Tomorrow," where she has served local and international communities, from hosting donation drives for patients at Connecticut Children's to donating school supplies to students in Bangladesh. Dr. Saud Anwar is a Connecticut State Senator who was elected in February 2019 to represent the 3rd State Senate District. He is a physician who specializes in lung diseases and critical care medicine. Senator Anwar is actively involved in advocating for early childhood care and improving health care. Ruth is the Secretary of the Citizens Coalition for Equal Access and former Chair of the Farmington Human Relations Commission. She is committed to eliminate “misconceptions, physical and attitudinal barriers, and communication and transportation problems” that impede the “full and equitable participation in the life of our society” of people with disabilities.
