The financial management association assists in the professional, educational, and social development of college students interested in finance, banking, and investments. The club provides an association for college students actively interested in these fields. The club also encourages interaction between executives, faculty, and students of business and finance. The FMA also has an honors program for finance students with a minimum 3.2 GPA. There are many benefits to joining the club. The FMA meets on Fridays at 2:30pm-3:30pm pst via Zoom
FMA OFFICERS
Nemrat is a Financial Management Technician in the Army National Guard and is majoring in Finance. As President, she leads the club with a strong strategic vision and a commitment to excellence. Her interests include traveling and painting.
As the vice president of the FMA at Cal State LA, he's dedicated to creating an engaging environment for finance students. Alejandro is in his final year of undergrad, majoring in business law with a minor in finance, combining legal principles with financial expertise. Outside of academics, he enjoys travelling and attending live concerts.
Jesse is pursuing an MBA with a focus on management. He is passionate about organizing events that drive financial success and engage the community. Outside of academics and his role, Jesse enjoys traveling, sports, photography, and videography.
Jay is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Finance. As Treasurer, she meticulously manages the club’s financial resources and ensures financial stability. Outside of her academic and club responsibilities, Jay loves to work out, hike and explore new places.
Sam is a Business Administration major with a focus on Finance, serving as the Corporate Relations Officer for the Financial Management Association. Known for his passion for computers, comics, and anime, Sam proudly embraces his geeky side while leveraging his diverse interests to connect with professionals in the corporate world.
Bryan is the Chief Marketing Officer of the Financial Management Association at Cal State LA, currently in his final year pursuing a Business Management degree with a minor in Financial Management. He enjoys playing with his dog, spending time with family, traveling, and buying jewelry. Fun fact: he's a certified Diamontologist
Emmanuel Anyaeto is pursuing a Master's in Financial Economics and currently holds the position of Secretary for the Financial Management Association. In his free time, Emmanuel enjoys cooking, playing badminton, engaging in card games, and watching TV shows, making him a well-rounded individual with a variety of interests.
