Join us for an informal welcome social designed to bring together offered and alternate students with current CSU veterinary students. This relaxed, mix-and-mingle event is a great opportunity to connect with future classmates, ask questions, and get a feel for the CSU community ahead of the Showcase event.

DVM Student Showcase is a special event designed for offered and alternate students admitted to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Colorado State University. This day gives you the opportunity to learn more about our curriculum, hear from faculty and current students, explore key facilities, and connect with your future classmates. Programming includes information sessions, guided tours, and opportunities to ask questions about academic life and student experiences. The event is intended to help you get a deeper feel for the CSU veterinary community as you consider your next steps.
Morning Programming will include:
Program Overview - Dr. Melinda Frye | Associate Dean for Veterinary Academic and Student Affairs
Financial Planning and Updates - Glenn Lyons | DVM Financial Education Specialist
New Curriculum Overview - Dr. Paul Avery and Dr. Andrew West | Curriculum Renewal Committee
Lunch Break
Afternoon Programming will include:
Tours of facilities , including teaching hospitals and the new Veterinary Health Education Complex (VHEC)
Please note that the VHEC is an active construction site and may include loud noises and ongoing construction activity that some attendees may be sensitive to. The tour will include the first and second floors of the facility. As the building is still under construction, elevators are not currently operational. Tours of all facilities are optional.
