Oral Histories Collections

Welcome!

The University Archives presents the "Oral Histories Project" a collection of interview recordings documenting the experiences of students, faculty, and staff stakeholders of Clayton State University.

Introduced during the 2019-2020 academic year, marking 50 years of the school's existence, this collection serves to celebrate and document Clayton State's success, local community ties, and academic excellence. The Collection's inaugural interview subjects include Dr. Gordon Baker former Dean of Libraries, Alex Lundy a Spring 2019 CSU Graduate, and Kevin Fitzgerald an Information Technology Specialist at CSU. These first participants have graciously taken part in the start of this continuing oral history project, creating an archive for future generations to access and learn from.

Provided alongside this online exhibit are general resources to assist in learning more about oral histories and how to conduct an oral history interview session.
