Please note that there are a limited number of school horses! This means that you are not guaranteed to ride a horse at every riding event. Students that would like to use school horses must attend the barn safety and riding evaluation meeting. This will be the first meeting of each new semester. Horse assignments at future riding nights are based off of participation at both riding and non-riding meetings. All meetings after the first of the semester are optional. the more meetings you come to, the more we try to give you ride time.
Students that ride the school horses also pay an additional horse use fee of $10. This money goes to the university and helps fund the care and keeping of our horses. *The club is unable to take digital money transfers such as Venmo, so we ask that students bring cash.
