1. Assistance to users in the use of books, online resources and other collections.

2. Assistance to users on the use of OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog)

Functions include check-outs and check-ins of materials including renewal and collection of fines and other charges, re-shelving of library materials, and maintaining order in shelving areas.

This aims to help students to better understand the role of the library in their quest for information. It is usually done for first year students and transferees at the start of the school year.

CSTC library provides information sources to support patrons who are conducting research.

Announcements of new acquisitions and other library information updates are displayed in the library website and library social media accounts.

ILL is a practice between participating libraries who establish agreements with one another to share materials to enhance their collections.

The Library is equipped with computer units with internet access. Patrons may use the facilities for free.

CSTC students or faculty members who need to consult other information centers/libraries may request from the library staff for the issuance of referral letter/s addressed to the librarian/head of the institution/s where he/she wishes to visit.
