PRIVACY POLICY — AST CST TEST PREP

THE SHORT VERSION

This app does not require an account, sign-up, name or email address. Your answers, scores, bookmarks and study history stay on your device and are not uploaded to us.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Questions you have answered and whether you answered them correctly

• Practice sessions, mock-exam results and readiness history

• Questions saved as bookmarks or recorded as mistakes

• Your study streak and daily progress

• App settings, including theme, font size, exam date, daily goal and reminder time

We cannot view or recover this information. You can delete it through Settings → Reset all progress or by uninstalling the app.

NO PATIENT INFORMATION

AST CST Test Prep - 2026 is an examination study app. It is not a clinical system, electronic medical record or patient-care application, and it does not provide a place to record patient information.

Do not enter patient information into the app. All scenarios and patients described in the practice questions are fictional and were written for teaching purposes.

WHAT IS COLLECTED, AND BY WHOM

ANALYTICS — GOOGLE FIREBASE

The app records anonymous usage events, such as when the app opens, onboarding is completed, a study session starts or finishes, and a question is answered.

These events include the exam identifier so we can distinguish this app from our other study apps. They do not contain question text, selected answer text, your study history, your name, your email address or patient information.

Analytics helps us understand which features are used and where the app may need improvement. Advertising ID collection is disabled, and the app contains no advertising.

CRASH REPORTS — FIREBASE CRASHLYTICS

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics may receive technical information such as the device model, operating-system version, app version and stack trace. Crash reports do not include your answers, scores, bookmarks or question content.

PURCHASES — REVENUECAT

If you purchase the one-time full-access unlock, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your payment-card or bank information.

RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier, product information and purchase status so the app can determine whether full access is unlocked and restore an eligible purchase.

REMOTE CONFIGURATION — FIREBASE REMOTE CONFIG

The app downloads a small configuration file used for operational settings, feature availability and emergency controls. This is primarily a download to the app and does not upload your study history.

REMINDERS

Study reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Reminder settings and notification times are not uploaded to us.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

• We do not sell personal information.

• We do not upload your answers, scores, bookmarks or study history.

• We do not collect patient information.

• We do not show advertisements.

• We do not collect an advertising identifier.

• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

YOUR CHOICES

• You may limit analytics through your device's privacy settings where supported.

• You may delete local study data through Settings → Reset all progress.

• Uninstalling the app deletes its locally stored study data.

• Purchases are associated with your Apple or Google account and may be restored through Settings → Restore purchases.

• Notification permission can be changed through your device settings.

DATA SECURITY

We use established third-party services and limit the information sent to what is needed for analytics, crash diagnosis, configuration and purchase validation. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are made. Material changes may also be announced in the app or store listing.
