Annual Splash Fest | Date TBD | After School

We hope to see all Cougars at SplashFest. 

This is our biggest and FUNNEST fundraiser of the year. All proceeds go directly back into the activity accounts of the departments and clubs that participate. Support your students and help Small thrive for the next school year—while having a blast!

9th Grade Next Steps | Thursday, January 22nd | 5:30 PM

Join the discussion for academics, campus life, and insider tips for rising 9th graders and their families. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Clint Small Middle School Cafeteria for a special PTA meeting featuring representatives from Bowie High School and Crockett High School. We’re planning to provide refreshments and would really appreciate your RSVP so we can plan food and seating.

Panelists will answer questions about unique academic programs and electives, clubs and sports for freshmen, student support services, important deadlines and forms, and their best advice for incoming 9th graders and parents.

Austin High Families: If your student is headed to Austin High, this panel night will focus on Bowie and Crockett only. Austin High will host a separate event just for Small families. Small Course Selection Parent Night for Austin High will take place at 6:00 PM in the Austin High Library on Thursday, February 19. Please mark your calendar for that date as well.

Next Steps 9th Grade 2025-2026

Be Internet Awesome | Wednesday, February 25th | 5:30 PM

PTA Connected program sponsored by Google + YouTube

Clint Small Middle School families are invited to a special Be Internet Awesome Family Night, a PTA Connected program sponsored by Google and YouTube, designed to help parents and caregivers support their middle schoolers in being smart, kind, and safe online. During this interactive session, families will also “Meet LEO” (Learn and Explore Online) and learn about helpful safety tools like SafeSearch and Family Link, and parents will be asked to complete a short survey at the end of the event.
