Conor Smith
Hi, I'm Conor Smith! I'm a Northern Ireland–based filmmaker, videographer, and photographer working across music videos, narrative films, and branded content.
With a background in directing and cinematography, I focus on visually-driven storytelling — capturing people, performance, and atmosphere with a cinematic eye. My work often blends documentary techniques with stylised visuals, shaped by my love for classic horror, character-led comedy, and cultural subcultures.
Most of my projects are self-initiated or made in collaboration with other creatives, and I'm especially drawn to working-class stories, public spaces, and fringe performance communities. I recently directed Bobby Disco, a mockumentary short about a primary school DJ making his unlikely return to the Belfast rave scene — blending humour, nostalgia, and pathos through bold visuals and on-the-fly improvisation.
When commissioned, I work closely with clients to bring their ideas to life — from performance-led studio shoots to authentic, story-first edits. I shoot with a Sony A6300, a kit lens and a 50mm, my equipment may be humble, but its output speaks for itself.
I'm always open to new creative collaborations. Whether you're a musician, filmmaker, business, or brand — feel free to get in touch and let's make something memorable together.
