Extremely exciting news. Our lab has just been awarded a standard grant to carry out research on freeze-induced protein stability. www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/show-award?AWD_ID=2548619
We welcome Emma Sullivan and Emily McDonald, both pharmD students to join the lab and get some hands-on experience.
This collaborative award sets a stepping stone for us for future meaningful collaboration with LA Tech (Dr. Shengian Wang)
Honored to receive my first research award as a new PI
Utilizing the camera system of the tensiometer, we modify and fit the equipment with a peltier-based vertical freezing stage to study the freezing process and characterize bubble formation as a source of stress to amphiphilic molecules
In collaboration with Abbvie Inc., a 3-day neutron beam time at Oak Ridge National Lab has been granted to study in-situ freeze-induced stress and effect of air-water interface on protein stability.
Nazmun Nahar Neela has joined the lab! Let's do science together.
Donated to the lab by my beloved former advisor Dr. Robert O. Williams III and Tarrytown Pharmacy (Austin,TX)
Donated to the lab by Michael A. Sandoval. Thank you Mike
